Wilder, Kentucky, March19, 2025– Pearl Technologies, a frontrunner in high-speed machine punches and attachments for converting and specialized blown film equipment and brand of EDGE Industrial Technologies, has launched Gusset Board Covers that provide the same high performance as Pearl’s full gusset boards at a fraction of the price.

”Representing the company’s latest innovation in blown film extrusion, the covers seamlessly fit over existing wood or metal gusset boards and are simple and safe to remove and clean using non-alcohol solvents, ensuring certification compliance. They are available with Pearl’s ultra-low COF aluminum, standard SM24, or extended-wear SM28, the lowest COF materials available in the industry.In addition, both options are FDA approved and fully food compliant.
With a lightweight design, the covers can easily be installed by one person in a few minutes, eliminating costly and excessive changeover times. Providing the same performance as traditional gusset boards, the covers cost significantly less and have a six-week lead time compared to 8-10 weeks for the full board.
